HPG Research

Good questions deserve more than assumptions.

HPG Research is dedicated to asking meaningful questions about people, behavior, and the communities we serve—and pursuing answers through thoughtful, rigorous psychological research. Through independent projects, community partnerships, and collaborative research, we aim to contribute knowledge that doesn’t simply live in journals, but helps us better understand the real world.

Curiosity is where progress begins

Psychology advances because someone is willing to look closely at something we don’t yet fully understand. We provide a home for that curiosity by supporting research that explores meaningful questions about psychological health, human behavior, development, performance, education, assessment, and the communities in which people live and work.

Our research efforts may include original studies, program evaluation, community-based research, collaboration with schools and organizations, and partnerships with other professionals and researchers. Whenever possible, we are especially interested in questions that emerge from the real world and have the potential to produce knowledge that can return to it. Because research shouldn’t end with a statistically significant finding or a publication. The best research changes the way we understand something and gives us a better question to ask next.

Have a question worth answering? Let’s investigate it together.
